Baleine
Creation 2019
created in le Vivat in Armentières, in the frame of Vivat la danse.
duration : 50'
Baleine is a choreographic project for a body that fell out of the sky or was brought by the move of the waves onto the stage. «Nothing is ever lost, nothing is ever created, everything is transformed ». Inspired by this principle of chain reaction, this meteorological dance explores interior landscapes on the exterior through a single body. A low-tech spectacle that observes the exchanges between here and there, the multiple and the unique, attempting to place the world at the center of the body (and not the other way around). Letting you see everything and its contrary, and even letting you hear the sound in a silent film.
Baleine intents to blur the frontier between language and music.
